Chartreuse Takes Undisclosed Stake In Frederick Wildman And SonsMay 17, 2022
Chartreuse Diffusion, the distribution company of Chartreuse Liqueur, has taken an undisclosed stake in New York-based importer Frederick Wildman and Sons, joining the company’s shareholder group and board of directors. The move marks an extension of the partnership between Chartreuse Liqueur and Wildman, which has handled the brand since 1989.
“Chartreuse Diffusion becoming a shareholder further reinforces our top position among U.S. fine wine and specialty spirits importers,” said Corrado Casoli, chairman of Frederick Wildman and of Gruppo Italiano Vini, Wildman’s principal shareholder.
The Wildman portfolio includes more than 75 brands, including Pol Roger, Olivier Leflaive, Pascal Jolivet, Château Fuissé, Famille Hugel, Domaine Faiveley, Marchesi di Barolo, as well as Cantine Riunite, CIV’s full portfolio, and the fine wines of Gruppo Italiano Vini including Nino Negri, Santi and Re Manfredi.—Daniel MarstellerSubscribe to Shanken News Daily’s Email Newsletter, delivered to your inbox each morning.
