Boston Beer Unveils TeaPot Cannabis-Infused Iced Teas

May 23, 2022

Boston Beer Co. will introduce cannabis-infused iced teas under the new TeaPot brand, beginning in the Canadian market in July. TeaPot is the first beverage brand developed by BBCCC Inc, Boston Beer’s cannabis subsidiary.

Each 12-ounce can of TeaPot contains 5mg of THC. TeaPot is produced at Peak Processing Solutions in Windsor, Ontario and distributed by Entourage Health Corp. of Toronto. The new brand blends real tea with specific cannabis strains to enhance specific times of the day, according to the company. Its first release is Good Day Iced Tea, made with lemon black tea and infused with Pedro’s Sweet Sativa, a cultivar grown by Entourage Health Corp. and sold exclusively in Canada under its retail brand Color Cannabis.

“We’re encouraged by the continued growth of the cannabis beverage category and we believe it’s one of the next innovation frontiers,” said Boston Beer CEO Dave Burwick. “As we await further progress on U.S. regulations, we’ll continue to develop an exciting product pipeline in the federally regulated market of Canada.”—Daniel Marsteller
