•Louisville, Kentucky’s Barrell Craft Spirits has released BCS Gold Label Seagrass, a limited edition 20-year-old rye. The whisky, sourced from Canada and bottled in Kentucky, was finished in a combination of Martinique rum, Malmsey Madeira, and apricot brandy casks before bottling at 64.06% abv. The new release will be available in select locations beginning in mid-June for a suggested price of $500 a 750-ml.

•Baltimore, Maryland’s Sagamore Spirit has launched a new line of canned cocktails, kicking off with three rye-based drinks. The RTDs were designed in collaboration with Cane Collective, a local craft mixer company. The three flavors—Pineapple Ryegarita, Lemon Tea Fizz, and Honey Paloma—are at 7%, 8%, and 9% abv respectively, available nationwide in individual flavor 4-packs of 12-ounce cans for $16 and in a 6-pack sampler for $20. In addition to the national releases, Sagamore has also announced three other canned cocktails: Orange Crush, available in Maryland, Washington D.C., Delaware, and New Jersey; and Watermelon Sour and Ginger & Rye, both exclusive to Sagamore’s tasting room.
