•Dewar’s 19 Year Old The Champions Edition, Loch Lomond The Open Course Edition, The Dalmore 21 Year Old, and newcomers from Barrell and Rabbit Hole are among the offerings featured in Whisky Advocate’s latest weekly roundup. The magazine’s website has all the details.

•Boston, Massachusetts’ M.S. Walker has added Coppa Cocktails to its portfolio of imports. The Coppa Cocktails core line includes a Margarita, Mojito, Strawberry Daiquiri, and Piña Colada, all at 15% abv and packaged in 750-ml. bottles. In addition to the core releases, the brand also makes a Cosmopolitan, Long Island Iced Tea, Mai Tai, Rum & Ginger, Sex on the Beach, and Tequila Sunrise. All carry a suggested retail price of $18 a bottle and are currently available in 27 states amid a national rollout.

•Empson USA added Franz Haas to its portfolio. Empson will represent the Northern Italian wine producer in the U.S. through seven selections including Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, and several Pinot Noirs like Pinot Nero and Ponkler Pinot Nero. Also included is Franz Haas’ white blend Manna. The wines come from a 55 hectare estate approximately 3,000 feet above sea level in South Tyrol. Empson USA also imports wines from New Zealand and Spain, but maintains a strong focus on Italy.

•Pomp & Whimsy, a new gin from entrepreneur Dr. Nicola Nice, has launched in New York. The 40% abv gin is made from a blend of 15 botanicals, including traditional gin aromatics like juniper, as well as more modern infusions like grapefruit, orange, lime, lavender, and peppermint, among others. The certified organic spirit carries a suggested price of $38 a 750-ml. While the gin is currently only available in New York and online, it will launch in Florida retail on June 1.
