Provi and SevenFifty Unveil Combined E-Commerce PlatformJune 2, 2022
Just a few months after announcing their partnership, e-commerce platforms Provi and SevenFifty have unveiled a new, integrated B2B marketplace. The expanded platform brings together distributor data and portfolio information from both SevenFifty and Provi, creating a vast database that can serve all three tiers of the beverage alcohol market.
“Provi and SevenFifty have the shared goal of better connecting all three tiers of the beverage alcohol industry,” said Taylor Katzman, founder and CEO of Provi. “SevenFifty has spent the last decade thoughtfully building innovative tools for distributor sales reps while creating a highly detailed wine and spirits content database. Integrating these distributor portfolios into Provi’s marketplace brings us one step closer to providing a more thorough and efficient experience for both on- and off-premise buyers.”
To keep things simple, Provi will provide users with a single login for buyers by the end of this year. While this integration expands Provi’s services, the partnered companies are keeping SevenFifty’s platform online, and wine and spirits reps will continue to be able to access SevenFifty’s tools and services. According to the companies, the full rollout will happen in phases, with the focus on ensuring a smooth transition for customers into the new marketplace.
Provi and SevenFifty announced their partnership in January, with SevenFifty CEO Aaron Sherman telling SND at the time, “We’ll leverage our respective strengths and create something that can provide a lot more value for stakeholders across the industry more quickly.”—Shane EnglishSubscribe to Shanken News Daily’s Email Newsletter, delivered to your inbox each morning.
