•Brooklyn, New York-based Threes Brewing has released a new West Coast IPA called Slippery Slope. The newcomer is billed as marrying the haziness of a New England IPA with the bitterness and structure of a West Coast IPA, and is made with German Pilsner Malt, American 2-Row, and American Oat Flakes, as well as Simcoe hops Chico yeast. Clocking in at 6.9% abv, Slippery Slope is debuting in 16-ounce cans.

•Los Angeles-based Jiant is launching a new Mai Tail cocktail-inspired hard kombucha. At 8% abv, the Mai Tai offering is gluten-free and organic, with the kombucha brewed with organic Dragonwell Green Tea, pineapple juice, orange juice, dark cherry juice, lime juice, coconut water, and cardamom. It’s available in six-packs at select retailers across the country, kicking off in Southern California. Jiant is distributed to over 3,000 stores throughout California, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Texas, and most recently, Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina.
