•Brown-Forman has launched the latest release in the Old Forester 117 series: Whiskey Row Fire. The 7-year-old Bourbon memorializes the July, 2015 fire that nearly destroyed Louisville’s Whiskey Row. The 50% abv whiskey was made from whiskey barreled on the day of the fire. Old Forester Whiskey Row Fire is now available at the distillery’s gift shop for $60 a bottle. Last year, Old Forester was up 18% to 378,000 cases in the U.S., according to Impact Databank.

•Chateau Minuty, part of the Vintus portfolio, is releasing a new limited edition bottle for its M by Minuty Cotes de Provence Rosé. Minuty partnered with Parisian tattoo artist Léa Amati to create the bottle, whose design includes pastel and neutral colors. The new limited edition bottling retails at $27. In addition to Minuty, the French portfolio at Vintus includes Champagnes Bollinger and Ayala, Chateau Margaux, Chateau La Fleur-Petrus, Domaine Chanson, and E. Guigal among others.

•Dallas-based Green Light Distributing has merged with Houston’s United Wine & Spirits, creating a newly enlarged player in the Texas wholesale market. The combined company, which retains the Green Light moniker, says it’s now the third-largest distributor in Texas, after Southern Glazer’s and RNDC. Southern Glazer’s is projecting revenues of $3 billion in the Lone Star state this year, while RNDC is aiming for sales of more than $2.5 billion. Green Light’s portfolio of more than 350 brands encompasses the most popular spirits categories, with particular strength in whiskey, vodka, Tequila, and mezcal. In addition to Texas, Green Light intends to expand into the Florida market by the end of the year.

•Myx Beverages, the Moscato-based brand created by musician Nicki Minaj, has added a new watermelon-flavored wine to its lineup. The new release, which joins peach, mango, and coconut in the brand’s portfolio, is at 5.5% abv and is now available in 4-packs of 187-ml. bottles and 750-ml. bottles. The 4-packs carry a suggested price of $10 or $11 and the larger bottles retail for $9 or $10.
