•Hard Truth Distilling Co. has expanded distribution into Texas, while also boosting maturation capacity and building a new rackhouse at its Nashville, Indiana distillery. The expansion brings Hard Truth’s portfolio to 16 states, with the company aiming for 28 by 2023, according to co-founder Jeff McCabe. Hard Truth’s Rackhouse No.-2 will bring aging capacity to 12,000 barrels, up from 4,000, and the company will install three new 5,000 gallon fermenters and shift to distilling 24 hours a day. Hard Truth’s portfolio includes Toasted Coconut Rum, Toasted Coconut Rum Cream, Maple Bourbon Cream, Cinnamon Vodka, Sweet Mash Rye, Indiana Straight Rye Whiskey, the Sipes family of Bourbon and rye whiskeys, and the Schoonover family of Bourbons.
