Diageo Lines Up New €200 Million Carbon Neutral Brewery In Ireland
July 15, 2022Diageo has announced plans to build a new carbon neutral brewery in Ireland’s Littleconnell, Newbridge, Co. Kildare on a €200 million ($201m) investment. The new facility will brew lagers and ales including Rockshore, Harp, Hop House 13, Smithwick’s, Kilkenny, and Carlsberg. When fully operational with a capacity of 2 million hectoliters, Diageo says the facility will be the second-largest brewing operation in Ireland after its St. James’s Gate brewery and support the future growth of Diageo Ireland’s beer brands.—Daniel Marsteller
