•Minnesota-based bitters and cocktail company Dashfire is expanding distribution to Illinois and Florida through new partnerships. In Florida, Breakthru Beverage will distribute Dashfire’s craft canned cocktails statewide, while Illinois operations will be handled by Southern Glazer’s. As part of the increased presence in Illinois, Dashfire products will be on shelves of select Binny’s locations beginning this month. Dashfire’s RTD line-up includes Bourbon Old Fashioned, Fig & Cascara Manhattan, Chai White Russian, Blackberry Bramble & a Salty Dog. Dashfire was founded in 2012 and now has a 25-state footprint.

•Ventura, California-based Flying Embers is launching a new line of cocktail-inspired RTDs. Made with agave nectar and fruit juice, the company used a proprietary fermentation process to create both a Margarita and Mojito canned cocktail, at 10% and 8% abv, respectively. They are aged in tequila and rum barrels and are made without syrup or artificial flavors and colors. The drinks come in variety 6-packs, with the Margarita pack featuring Classic Lime, Blood Orange Pomegranate, and Strawberry Guava, and the Mojita pack including Lime, Watermelon, and Mango options. Flying Embers RTDs are available at select retailers in California, Texas, Colorado, and North Carolina.
