July 25, 2022•Yellowstone Limited Edition (2022 Release), Hidden Barn Small Batch #001, and newcomers from Milam & Greene and Blue Run are among the offerings featured in Whisky Advocate’s latest weekly roundup. The magazine’s website has all the details.
•Australian winemaker Penfolds, part of the Treasury Wine Estates portfolio, is launching its two inaugural French releases. The company partnered with Bordeaux winemaker Dourthe on one of the releases to create Penfolds II Cabernet Shiraz Merlot 2019. The other is 2019 Penfolds FWT 585, made with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot at Cambon la Pelouse Winery. Both will be released next month as part of Penfolds’ annual collection.
•Ste. Michelle Wine Estates has appointed Andy Feuerstein as senior vice president of national accounts, on/off sale. Feuerstein joins Ste. Michelle following a 12-year career at Red Bull North America, where he was most recently senior vice president of national accounts, leading a team of 40 sales executives managing Red Bull’s grocery, mass, and club channels. In his new role he’ll report to Dan Heller, Ste. Michelle’s executive vice president of sales. Earlier this month, Ste. Michelle inked an expanded distribution deal with Southern Glazer’s, aligning the two companies across 36 states.
