•Fallon, Nevada’s Frey Ranch has announced a new single barrel rye, part of the farm and distillery’s celebration of this year’s harvest. The new whiskey, bottled at barrel proof, is made from a mash of winter cereal rye grown in Frey’s fields. The rye carries a suggested price of $99 a 750-ml. and will be available at Frey Ranch and in select retailers throughout Nevada; the whiskey is also available through Frey’s website. Beyond the single barrel rye, Frey’s harvest celebration will include other limited edition whiskies, set to be announced this fall.

•Louisville, Kentucky’s Barrell Craft Spirits has launched BCS Gray Label Dovetail, the company’s newest whiskey and a more aged, limited edition version of Barrell’s Dovetail whiskey. Gray Label Dovetail brings together whiskies distilled in Indiana, Tennessee, and Canada, including barrels up to 20 years old. The newcomer is bottled at 65.77% abv and carries a suggested price of $250 a 750-ml.
