August 4, 2022•Dry Creek Vineyards has appointed Prestige-Ledroit as its distributor for the Mid-Atlantic region. With 185 acres of sustainably farmed vineyards, Dry Creek is known for Sonoma County Dry Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Meritage blends as well as a portfolio of single vineyard selections. Prestige-Ledroit, formed after the merger of Prestige Beverage Group and Ledroit Brands in 2016, operates in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Delaware.
•Kirker Greer Spirits is launching Jawbox Irish Gin in the U.S. The brand is rolling out across Total Wine’s 233-store, 27-state footprint, where both the flagship 43% bottling and the 47% Export Strength gins will be available. The gin is made with 11 botanicals including juniper, black mountain heather, coriander seed, orris root, and grains of paradise, among others.
•Online distributor LibDib, which has an alliance with RNDC, has named Don Farnworth as vice president of business intelligence. Farnworth joined LibDib in 2019 and, since then, has created the company’s advanced analytics team. To this new role, Farnworth brings three decades of experience in the tech and communications worlds at companies like HP, Cellular One, and AT&T Wireless Services, among others. Farnworth will continue to develop LibDib’s analytics team and data management capabilities and best practices. Farnworth will report to LibDib CIO Richard Brashears.
