•Islay Scotch producer Ardbeg, part of the Moët Hennessy portfolio, will release the fourth bottling of its 19-year-old expression Ardbeg Traigh Bhan next month. Although it carries the same name as years past, Traigh Bhan is made in small batches and released year-on-year, meaning that each year’s release will differ from those past. This batch was aged with a higher proportion of Oloroso sherry casks and was bottled at 46.2%. It will be available from select retailers, priced at $300 a 750-ml.

•Pernod Ricard-owned Jefferson’s Bourbon is launching Jefferson’s Ocean Aged at Sea Voyage 29 Wheated. It’s the latest expression in the company’s Aged at Sea collection, which entailed a trip from Savannah, Georgia through the Panama Canal and around Australia before eventually returning to the U.S. The ocean aging process is said to create more contact between liquid and barrel due to the constant rocking of the boat, along with other changes due to shifting temperatures and humidities. Voyage 29 Wheated is at 45% abv and is available now nationwide for $80 a 750-ml.

•Frederick Wildman and Sons is debuting Sweet Gwendoline French Gin. The gin was founded by spirits industry veteran Larry McGearty, who previously led the team that created Sailor Jerry Rum, in partnership with Dita Von Teese, “The Queen of Burlesque.” The brand was inspired by the work of fetish artist and publisher John Willie. Sweet Gwendoline French Gin, sourced from the South of France, is now available in New York, California, Texas, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, and Wisconsin, as well as online for shipping to 30 states and Washington, D.C.

•Ross & Squibb Distillery will release Remus Repeal Reserve Series VI Straight Bourbon Whiskey this September. Bottled at 50% abv, Remus Repeal Reserve Series VI retails for a suggested $100 a 750-ml bottle and will be available in limited quantities. Made in a signature high-rye style, Series VI comprises five Bourbons, aged between 8-14 years, from Ross & Squibb’s 175-year-old Lawrenceburg, Indiana distillery. George Remus Bourbon is part of the Luxco (MGP) portfolio of brands.
