•Middlebury-based Vermont Cider Company, maker of Woodchuck cider, has appointed Brian Truelsen as vice president of sales. In his new role, Truelsen will lead the company’s national sales team as well as manage all distributor relationships. He comes to the role with decades of industry experience, including at Anheuser-Busch’s venture capital arm, ZX Ventures, where he served as head of sales and new business before joining AB’s Beyond Beer team as head of partnerships.

•Los Angeles, California’s Greenbar Distillery has launched Hibiscus Unspritzed, a new non-alcoholic canned cocktail. The drink—based on the distillery’s 6% abv Hibiscus Spritz—comes in 4-packs of 12-ounce cans for a suggested price of $15. While based on an alcoholic cocktail from the company, Hibiscus Unspritzed sits alongside other non-alc offerings from Greenbar, like Bitters + Soda and UnGin + Tonic.
