•Treasury Wine Estates’ 19 Crimes brand is launching Snoop Cali Gold, the franchise’s first sparkling wine. Retailing at $18 a 750-ml., the newcomer is part of the brand’s ongoing partnership with Snoop Dogg, and includes a QR code located on the back of the bottle that brings Snoop to life via an augmented reality experience when scanned with a mobile device. Snoop Cali Gold joins 19 Crimes’ existing line of California wines and marks Snoop Dogg’s third collaboration with the brand, joining Snoop Cali Red and Cali Rosé.

•Espolòn Tequila, part of the Campari America portfolio, is extending with a Cristalino expression. One of the last projects of Maestro Tequilero Cirilo Oropeza before his passing in 2020, the Cristalino is a blend of Espolòn Añejo and a touch of extra Añejo, which is minimally filtered through charcoal and bottled at 40% abv. Retailing at $60 a 750-ml., the new entry is debuting nationwide in limited quantities. To back the launch, Espolòn will host an interactive, immersive experience called Urban Cenote in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood from September 21-23.

•Argentina’s Luigi Bosca, imported by Pacific Highway Wines, is launching its Paraiso icon wine in the U.S. Paraiso ($150) is debuting at select U.S. retailers and restaurants beginning this month. The full Luigi Bosca wine collection offered in the U.S. features the Insignia tier, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec (all $20); and the recently launched De Sangre collection, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec D.O.C., red blend, white blend, and a Limited Edition Altamira Malbec (all $30).

•Mezzacorona has announced a new addition to their portfolio, Domenica Pinot Grigio. Sourced from Trentino, Domenica Pinot Grigio retails at $15 and is rolling out through Mezzacorona importer Prestige Wine Imports. The Mezzacorona brand was at 1.1 million cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank, ranking as the 10th-largest imported wine label by volume. In addition to the flagship brand, the Mezzacorona stable also includes Rotari Trentodoc Metodo Classico sparkling wines, and Stemmari wines from Sicily.

•California’s Redwood Empire Whiskey, part of Purple Brands, is launching Batch No. 002 of Redwood Empire Rocket Top Straight Rye Whiskey and Redwood Empire Grizzly Beast Straight Bourbon Whiskey (both $90 a 750-ml.). Rocket Top has a mashbill of 87% rye, 5% wheat, 5% malted barley, and 3% corn, while the Grizzly Beast is composed of 66% corn, 23% rye, 7% wheat, and 4% barley. Both were bottled-in-bond and aged five years in 53-gallon American White Oak barrels. The duo is launching at select U.S. retailers.
