•California’s Riboli Family Wines has expanded Stella Rosa into the spirits market with a new line of flavored brandies. The Italian brandies, a first for the Stella Rosa brand, come in three flavors—Black (blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry), Tropical Passion (mango, pineapple, and passion fruit), and Honey Peach—all at 35% abv and retailing for $30 a 750-ml. The line is currently available in Miami, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New Orleans, Chicago, Baltimore, and Houston, ahead of a national rollout early next year. To celebrate the launch, the brand has teamed up with singer Brandy to create “the Spirit of Stella Rosa.” In addition, Brandy will serve as the face of the new brandies.

•Kentucky’s Bardstown Bourbon Company has announced the final release in the distillery’s Fusion series, nos.-8 and -9. Fusion 8 is a blend of two Bardstown-distilled Bourbons with a 12-year-old sourced Kentucky Bourbon bottled at 47.75% abv. Fusion 8 is currently available in Bardstown’s 20-state distribution footprint. Fusion 9, set to hit shelves this fall, will be released at 48.4% abv. Both whiskies carry a suggested retail price of $65 a 750-ml. With the Fusion series wrapping up, Bardstown’s next line will be the Origin series, featuring the company’s own matured whiskies.

•Diageo has debuted a new advertising campaign for 21Seeds, the flavored Tequila brand the company acquired in March. The “Back to Routine” campaign features brand co-founder Kat Hantas sharing tips to get back to a productive fall after a summer of fun. In addition to Hantas, the campaign features lifestyle expert Jojo Fletcher. 21Seeds comes in three flavors—Valencia orange, grapefruit hibiscus, and cucumber jalapeño—all at 35% abv.

•Rotkäppchen-Mumm and Botter Mondodelvino are teaming to launch Doppio Passo Primitivo in the U.S. A leading brand in Europe, Doppio Passo is a 100% Primitivo from the Puglia region in the South of Italy. After test marketing in Colorado and Georgia, it is slated to expand more widely next year. The new entry is available at a suggested retail price of $18, imported by Park Street Imports and distributed via Eagle Rock Distributing Company. Rotkäppchen-Mumm has total turnover of 1.2 billion euros ($1.2b). Botter Mondodelvino is a new company formed by the merger of two large Italian wine groups, Botter S.p.A and MGM Mondodelvino S.p.a.
