•Blackened x Wes Henderson, Glenfiddich 12 year old Sherry Cask Finish, and newcomers from Hirsch and Clonakilty are among the offerings featured in Whisky Advocate’s latest weekly roundup. The magazine’s website has all the details.

•Maison Ferrand has launched Canerock, a new spiced rum from Jamaica. The 40% abv spirit blends two Jamaican rums from the Long Pond and Clarendon distilleries with flavors like coconut, vanilla, and ginger. In addition to the added spices, the rum is finished in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks. Canerock is now available across the U.S. for a suggested price of $30 a 700-ml.

•The Last Drop Distillers of London have announced their latest blend. The whiskey, called Release No 28: The Last Drop Signature Blend of Kentucky Straight Whiskeys, was blended by Sazerac master blender Drew Mayville from a selection of Bourbons and ryes before bottling at 60.7% abv. The release is limited to only 1,458 bottles available worldwide. In the U.S., Release No. 28 will be available in October at a suggested price of $3,999. The Last Drop is a Sazerac company.
