•Rochester, New York’s Black Button Distilling has announced a $5 million expansion, which will give the craft spirits maker a new distillery and tasting room.The investment will bring the company’s physical footprint from 5,000 square feet to 28,000, including an expanded 4,500 square foot tasting room. In addition, production capacity will rise from 1,000 barrels per year to 4,500. Within the first year of the expansion, Black Button plans to add 20 jobs and, in the future, up to 50 new positions. The expansion is set to be completed late spring or early summer 2023.

•Driggs, Idaho’s Grand Teton Distillery has released 8-Year Grand Teton Private Stock Straight Bourbon, the oldest Bourbon from the distillery to date. The 50% abv whiskey is made from a mash of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% barley. The limited release was selected from 16 barrels and carries a suggested price of $80 a 750-ml. This is the second release in Grand Teton’s Private Stock series and follows last year’s Straight Corn Whiskey.
