•Truss Beverage, the joint venture between Molson Coors Canada and Hexo, is launching House of Terpenes Canntinis, a new range of cannabis mocktails, in the Canadian market. Rolling out in Cranberry Citrus and Ginger Lime flavors, the two high-dosage cannabis beverages are inspired by the Cosmopolitan and Mule cocktails respectively. The Truss portfolio of brands also includes XMG, Little Victory, Mollo, Veryvell, and Bedfellows Liquid Arts.
•Aurora is debuting a number of new products, including three new proprietary flower strains, Electric Honeydew, Ultra Grape Kush, and Organic BC White Grape OG. Other new offerings include Drift Glitches, billed as “a first-of-its-kind high-potency chewable extract,” delivering 10mg THC per piece; San Rafael ’71 Live Resin Sour Mix Pack Gummies; and Daily Special Spicy Mango Chili Soft Chews and Pink Pepper OG flower, among others. The fall product release is set to roll out to patients on Aurora Medical starting in October, followed by availability in Canadian adult-use retailers.
•California cannabis distributor Humble & Fume posted sales of $66 million for its fiscal year ended in June, with adjusted EBITDA showing a loss of $10 million. According to the company, “further topline growth is expected in FY2023 as we ramp up efforts with existing industry-leading brands such as Canndescent and Humboldt Farms, as well as onboarding new cannabis brands like Cookies and adding additional retail partners.” Humble & Fume added that it can now “deliver product to 95% of California dispensaries within 24 hours, employing two warehouses and over 15 delivery vehicles.” Johnson Brothers has invested in Humble & Fume and Johnson Brothers president and CEO Mark Hubler sits on the company’s board.Subscribe to Shanken News Daily’s Email Newsletter, delivered to your inbox each morning.
