•Hiro Sake is launching Hiro Saketini, the brand’s first RTD canned saketini cocktail. Hiro Saketini (5% abv) will be available in four-packs of 12-ounce cans retailing at $13. The newcomer is debuting with a Black Cherry and a Watermelon Saketini in Florida this month at on-premise accounts initially, with the off-premise market to follow. In Florida, Hiro has named Breakthru Beverage as its distributor partner for Hiro Saketini. Distribution and additional flavors will expand across the U.S. in 2023. Hiro Sake is present across 20 U.S. markets.

•Kentucky’s Bardstown Bourbon Company has announced the Origin Series, the first line of whiskies entirely distilled, barreled, and matured at the company’s distillery from its own stocks. The series, which will launch in early 2023, consists of three whiskies, all six years old: Origin Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey ($45), Origin Bottled-in-Bond $50), and Origin Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey ($70). Origin Straight Bourbon and rye are bottled at 48% abv and the bonded whiskey is bottled at 50%. The whiskies will see distribution in 24 states, as well as at Bardstown’s distillery store, and through select online retailers. In addition to the wider releases, a limited number of single barrels are available to purchase.
