•California-based Firestone Walker is returning its Wookey Jack brew for the first time in six years. Wookey Jack Black Rye IPA is now rolling out to all Firestone Walker markets in six-pack (12-ounce can) and draft formats. This is the first widespread release of Wookey Jack since the beer was originally retired in late 2016. The latest edition of Wookey Jack (8.3% abv) includes Citra and Amarillo hops as well as pearled dark malts and rye.

•San Diego, California-based breweries Second Chance Beer Company and Coronado Brewing Company are releasing the new collaborative effort Dog Beach Double IPA. The limited release was brewed at Second Chance’s Carmel Mountain headquarters and is at 8% abv. It is made with Mosaic, Strata, and Talus hops. Dog Beach Double IPA is available now in cans at independent craft beer bottleshops throughout San Diego County, as well as at Second Chance’s Carmel Mountain and North Park locations and on draft at Coronado’s taprooms in Bay Park, Coronado, and Imperial Beach.
