Southern Glazer’s Proof E-Commerce Platform Tops $3 Billion In Sales

As the wholesale tier continues its digital transformation, Southern Glazer’s says its SGProof e-commerce platform surpassed sales of $3 billion last year. According to the company, more than 82,000 hospitality customers placed orders on SGProof.com in 2022, purchasing more than 61,000 products and resulting in more than 17 million cases delivered. It added that sales consultants generated more than one million proposals through the platform last year, leading to millions of dollars in incremental sales and 70,000 new points of distribution.

Southern Glazer’s also touted a number of enhancements to the Proof platform, including a new mobile experience with barcode scanning for easy ordering, recommendations helping customers with quick alternatives when items are out of stock, and improved order history, cart features, and search filters.

“We will continue to invest in industry-leading functionality to equip our sales team and enhance the Proof platform as we aim to strengthen the bond between Southern Glazer’s, our customers and suppliers in 2023 and beyond,” said Southern Glazer’s chief commercial officer John Wittig. Southern Glazer’s total revenues reached $24 billion last year, according to Shanken’s Impact Newsletter.—Daniel Marsteller
