•Woodford Reserve, part of the Brown-Forman portfolio, has launched the 2023 edition of its Double Double Oaked Bourbon. The yearly limited release spends an extra year maturing in a heavily charred new oak barrel, meaning the Double Double oak has seen three new oak casks before bottling at 45.2% abv. The whiskey is now available at the Woodford Reserve distillery for $60 a 375-ml. bottle with guests limited to buying two bottles each. It will also be available in limited quantities at select Kentucky retailers. Woodford Reserve was up 12% to 1.25 million cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.

•Monterey, California-based Scheid Family Wines announced the national debut of new label Grandeur Wines. Grapes for Grandeur releases come from Scheid Family’s White Flower Vineyard in the Hames Valley AVA, which is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah. Grandeur Wines is launching with a Red Blend and a Rosé, available this month and next, respectively. The former, a 2021 vintage, is a blend of the two aforementioned varietals and aged for 10 months, priced at $23 a bottle; the latter is 100% Petite Sirah and will retail for $20. Grandeur releases will be available at select retailers including Whole Foods and Total Wine by early March.

•Amber Beverage Group (ABG) has launched a new addition to its Kah Tequila range, Huichol Limited Edition. The collection of hand-decorated, beaded bottles is individually numbered and named after the native Mexican tribe who created the bottles’ artwork. The Extra Anejo Tequila is rolling out only in the U.S. in a supply of 600 bottles, available on Caskers for $517 apiece. Part of SPI Group, Amber Beverage’s core brands also include Rooster Rojo Tequila, Moskovskaya Vodka, The Irishman Whiskey, Writers’ Tears Whiskey, Riga Black Balsam, and Cosmopolitan Diva.
