•Kentucky’s Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. has launched Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Imperial Milk Stout into national distribution. The 12% abv beer is the brewery’s latest barrel-aged release and is available in 4-packs of 12-ounce bottles for a suggested price of $17 a 4-pack. The new release sits alongside Lexington’s other barrel-aged beers like Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale, Kentucky Maple Barrel Stout, and Kentucky Pumpkin Barrel Ale, among others. In December, Lexington’s parent company, Lyons Brewing & Distilling Co., named former Widow Jane president and master distiller Lisa Wicker as Lyons’ new CEO.

•Hershey, Pennsylvania-based Tröegs Independent Brewing is releasing Double Nugget Nectar, a Double Imperial Amber Ale weighing in at 9.5% abv. Double Nugget Nectar is made with Simcoe, Azacca, Columbus, and Nugget hops, along with Munich, Pilsner, and Vienna malts and flaked oats. Tröegs Double Nugget Nectar is extremely limited and available now in 16-ounce cans across the brewery’s distribution footprint.
