•Mendoza, Argentina’s Bodega Luigi Bosca is introducing its La Linda brand in the U.S. market. La Linda includes Torrontes, Chardonnay, Malbec, and Red Blend offerings retailing at $15 a 750-ml. The brand will be imported by Pacific Highway Wines, which gained the Bodega Luigi Bosca portfolio last year. Mark Giordano, president of Pacific Highway, said, “La Linda is coming out of the gates strong with an enticing brand proposition, engaging marketing, and powerful viti-vini expertise behind the project.” At the higher end, Luigi Bosca also launched its Paraiso icon wine ($150) in the U.S. last fall.

•Freshie organic Tequila seltzer, has named Gerry David to the newly established role of president, U.S. sales. David is the former CEO of Celsius Fitness Drinks. In his new role, David will guide sales efforts across Freshie’s key markets, including Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan, as well as the Southeast, including Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Freshie Lime, Grapefruit-Guava, and Blood Orange-Habanero seltzers retail at $11 a four-pack of 12-ounce cans.
