•Importer Dreyfus, Ashby & Co has appointed Winebow as its distributor for the New York market. Winebow already serves as Dreyfus, Ashby’s distributor across Florida, Virginia, Georgia, and Washington. Winebow’s U.S. distribution platform includes 18 markets that cover 60% of the wine consumption in the U.S., according to the company. Part of the Drouhin family holdings, Dreyfus, Ashby’s portfolio includes Drouhin wines from Burgundy and Oregon, as well as Chateau Petrús, Chateau Trotanoy, and Belair-Monange from Bordeaux; Ulysses, Rubicon, and Inglenook from Napa; Champagne Drappier; Domaine Comte Georges de Vogue; and Château de Campuget, among others.

•New Jersey’s Royal Wine Corp has announced the latest release in the Boondocks family of whiskies, an 18-year-old Bourbon. The whiskey is bottled at cask strength of 52.7% and the barrels were sourced from Kentucky with the final blend overseen by distiller David Scheurich. Only 1,620 bottles of Boondocks 18 Year Old will be available for a suggested price of $280 in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and Texas.

•Costa Tequila has entered Arizona, Nebraska, Colorado, and Georgia, bringing the brand’s footprint to 11 states amid a wider period of growth and expansion. Beyond adding new states, the brand received nearly 3,000 retail placements in 2022. In addition to expanding its distribution footprint, Costa recently launched an Añejo Tequila that aged for 16 months in American oak. Costa’s range of Tequilas—made from agave sourced from both highland and lowland farms—retail from $37-$57, depending on the age of the spirit.
