•Pernod Ricard has announced a new peach-flavored rum to its Malibu brand. Malibu Peach comes in at 21% abv and is now available in 50-ml., 750-ml., 1-liter, and 1.75-liter bottles across the U.S. The release is the fourth flavor in Malibu’s portfolio and joins Watermelon, Pineapple, and Strawberry alongside the brand’s original coconut rum. In addition to the peach-flavored rum, Malibu has also added a peach canned cocktail to its Cocktails in a Can line, alongside Piña Colada, Strawberry Daiquiri, Pineapple Bay Breeze, and Watermelon Mojito, all at 7% abv and in 12-ounce cans.

•C. Mondavi & Family’s French Blue has announced two new sparkling wines from Bordeaux, set to hit shelves this month. The wines, both Crémant de Bordeaux, will retail for $25 a bottle and come in Brut and Brut Rosé offerings. The wines were made in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region and rested on the lees for a year with the Brut sparkler made from Merlot, Sémillon, and Muscadelle; and the rosé made from 99% Merlot. The pair join the rest of the French Blue portfolio which consists of a rosé, a Sauvignon Blanc, and a red Bordeaux, with the original trio retailing for $16 a bottle.

•Napa Valley, California-based Cakebread Cellars is launching Bezel, a new collection of wines that celebrate various AVAs within California’s Central Coast. The Bezel line is debuting with two options and a third is planned for release in autumn of this year. The first two releases, available now in Texas, Colorado, Connecticut, and Tennessee, are Bezel’s Edna Valley Chardonnay 2021 ($25 a bottle) and Edna Valley Pinot Noir 2021 ($30). The fall release will be a 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon. Bezel will aim for full nationwide availability within the next few years. The line is launching in conjunction with Cakebread Cellars’ 50th anniversary this year.
