•Louisville, Kentucky-based Michter’s has announced the 2023 release of the company’s 10-year-old Bourbon. This launch marks the first time since 2021 that Michter’s has released a 10-year-old Bourbon. The single barrel whiskey is bottled at 47.2% abv and carries a suggested price of $185 a bottle. The bottling will be available in limited quantities across the U.S. beginning in March.

•Vineyard Brands has added Napa’s Forman Vineyard to its fine wine portfolio. Forman Vineyard produces Bordeaux-style Cabernet Sauvignon (blended with small amounts of other Bordeaux varietals) from the winery’s Howell Mountain vineyard. The move brings Forman into the fold alongside Vineyard Brands’ globally-minded portfolio, including a number of Burgundian wineries, Champagne houses, and other wineries from South America, the U.S., and Austria, among other countries.

•Larkspur, California’s O’Neill Vintners & Distillers has named Juan Muñoz-Oca as the company’s new chief winegrowing officer. Muñoz-Oca joins O’Neill with decades of industry experience, including nearly 20 years in various winemaking roles at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates. At O’Neill, Muñoz-Oca will lead winemaking teams based in both Paso Robles and Parlier, California, as well as the company’s grower relations team. As chief winegrowing officer, Muñoz-Oca will be responsible for winemaking across O’Neill’s own brands and the company’s private bottling business.
