Craft Brewing and Distilling News for March 6, 2023

•Escondido, California’s Stone Brewing has released Patio Magic Double IPA. The 8.8% abv ale is brewed with extract from Sauvignon Blanc grape skins and an experimental hop varietal from Hop Breeding Company. Patio Magic marks the first time Stone has brewed with the grape extract, called Phantasm, and the beer also uses HBC 843 hops, plus orange peel, and Centennial, Mosaic, and Southern Aroma hops. The beer is now available across the U.S. in six-packs of 12-ounce cans, as well as 22-ounce bottles and on draft.
