March 13, 2023•Duluth, Minnesota-based Wild State Cider is moving to a bigger production space to keep up with surging demand. The cidery, which only opened its doors in 2019, has secured a 60,000 square-foot facility in West Duluth that will quadruple production up to 500,000 gallons, or 12 million cans, of cider annually. The company’s existing taproom will remain open. Wild State’s products are available in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Virginia, and Montana.
•Ireland’s Carlow Brewing Company has announced the U.S. launch of O’Hara’s Irish Red Nitro. The beer, set to hit shelves across the U.S. this month, is a 4.3% abv red ale and comes in 16-ounce cans with a nitro widget, giving the beer a creamier, draft-style texture. The new nitro cans join Irish Stout, Irish Red Ale, and Irish Pale in O’Hara’s U.S. portfolio, where the brand is imported by Total Beverage Solution.
