•Blanco, Texas-based Milam & Greene Whiskey has completed a multi-million dollar distillery expansion, including upgrades for both the production and tourism facilities. As part of the upgrade, the company added a new 1,000 gallon still to its Texas distillery, increasing production capacity to over 1,000 barrels per year. In addition, Milam & Greene also added new mash tuns, fermenters, and boilers. The expanded tasting room now features additional seating and a dedicated area to sell Milam & Greene merchandise. To celebrate the completion, the distillery bottled a single barrel of Distillery Edition Batch 4 Straight Bourbon Whiskey, which is now available in the tasting room.

•New Jersey-based Worldwide Libations has announced the release of A Pachas, a new Spanish wine brand from the Madrid D.O. “A Pachas” means to share in Madrid Spanish slang. Founded by father and son duo Juan Carlos and Luis Llopart, A Pachas rolls out with three wines: Malvar, an indigenous white grape ($15); a young unaged Tempranillo ($15); and a Crianza Tempranillo aged in American oak for eight months.

•Georgetown, Kentucky’s Blue Run Spirits has hired Chelsea Catania as the brand’s first vice president of sales. Catania joins Blue Run with a decade and a half of industry experience, with a particular focus on luxury brands, having managed parts of the Diageo portfolio for Enthuse Marketing, as well as time spent at Casa Dragones and Patrón. In her new role Catania will manage Blue Run’s global sales operations—including on- and off-premise, e-commerce, and more—while reporting to CEO and founder Mike Montgomery.

•Freixenet Mionetto USA has named Skyler Jones as vice president of sales. Jones comes to Freixenet Mionetto from Terlato Wines International where he served as division vice president. Beyond his experience at Terlato, Jones also served as managing director of sales at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates. At FM USA, Jones will report to CEO and managing director Enore Ceola as he leads the company’s national sales team.
