•Brown-Forman is expanding its lineup of limited edition, age-stated Jack Daniel’s bottlings with a new 12-year-old whiskey. Jack Daniel’s 12-Year-Old Tennessee whiskey is bottled at 53.5% abv and carries a suggested price of $80 a 700-ml. bottle. In addition to the new whiskey, the company has announced the second batch of Jack Daniel’s 10-year-old. Batch 2 is bottled at 48.5% abv and will retail for around $70. Both whiskies are rolling out now in limited quantities across the U.S.

•NBA star James Harden is extending his J-Harden wine brand with a Prosecco offering. Marketed in collaboration with Accolade Wines, Harden’s Extra Dry Prosecco DOC will be released starting in April, available at leading retailers across the U.S. Retailing at $17, it joins a California Cabernet Sauvignon and California Red Blend in the J-Harden brand range. Accolade’s other brands include Hardys, St Hallett, Grant Burge, and Banrock Station among others, with global volume totaling approximately 31 million cases annually.

•Compass Box Peat Monster Cask Strength: Origin Story, Green Spot Quails’ Gate, and newcomers from Bushmills and Virginia Distillery Co. are among the offerings featured in Whisky Advocate’s latest weekly roundup. The website has all the details.

•Sunny with a Chance of Flowers, the better-for-you wine brand from Monterey, California-based Scheid Family Wines, is introducing a new Sunny Bubbly Rosé. Retailing at $20 a bottle, Sunny with a Chance of Flowers Bubbly Rosé is launching nationally with Kroger in April. The Sunny lineup is available nationwide at select retailers such as Kroger, Target, Whole Foods, among others, as well as restaurants and directly through its website.

•Napa, California’s Folio Fine Wine Partners has named Tim Norris as the company’s new CEO. Norris joins Folio from Moët Hennessy USA where he most recently served as managing director and vice president, estates and wines. During his time at MHUSA, Norris led the team that integrated Chateau d’Esclans into the luxury company. In his new role, Norris will shape Folio’s growth strategy and work to continue to develop the company’s portfolio.

•Spain’s Gil Family Estates has appointed Philip Tardy as executive vice president of sales and marketing for the U.S. Tardy is a 25-year industry veteran who was most recently senior vice president at House of Smith. He’s also spent time with Terlato, Southern Glazer’s, and Gallo. Controlling over 4,300 acres and marketing wines from Jumilla, La Rioja, Priorat, Rias Baixas, and Rueda, the Gil Family Estates portfolio includes Bodegas Juan Gil, El Nido, Morca, Rosario Vera, Cellers Can Blau, Atalaya, Ateca, Shaya, Tridente, Llicorella Vins, and Lagar Da Condesa.
