Joe Wagner Debuts New Wine Label, Threadcount

March 15, 2023

Fifth-generation vintner Joe Wagner’s Copper Cane Wines & Provisions is launching a new non-vintage wine label, Threadcount. A blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Merlot from Mendocino, Sonoma, and Lodi, the new offering retails at $25 a bottle and is part of Wagner’s Napa Valley Quilt portfolio. Threadcount is rolling out to restaurants and retailers this month.

The newcomer, billed as “an extension of the Quilt winemaking style translated for more casual occasions,” joins Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, and The Fabric of the Land Red Wine in the Napa Valley Quilt portfolio. Copper Cane’s other brands include Belle Glos, Böen, and Elouan.
