•Hendrick’s Gin, part of the William Grant & Sons portfolio, has unveiled Flora Adora, a new limited release from master distiller Lesley Gracie’s “Cabinet of Curiosities” series. Inspired by garden florals—and featuring a botanical blend inspired by blooms that Gracie says are most enticing to pollinators—the new entry is bottled at 43.4% abv and retails at $40 a bottle. It’s recommended to be mixed simply with sparkling water or in cocktails.

•Opici Wines & Spirits is adding to its portfolio with Weekday Wines, a low-alcohol and low-calorie brand sourced from California. With 80 calories a serving and 9% alcohol by volume, the brand contains 30% less alcohol than average wines. The current line includes Pinot Noir and Rosé retailing at $17. Weekday Wines are already in distribution in NH, CT, MA, NJ, NY, MD, and DE with a national launch planned for the spring.

•Spain’s Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (CVNE) has acquired Rias Baixas-based Bodegas La Val for an undisclosed sum. A pioneer in Albarino, La Val only produces wines from its own vineyards, of which it has 122 acres. The winery allocates 70% of sales to export markets. With the La Val deal, CVNE now has eight wineries across different Spanish appellations: CVNE, Imperial, Viña Real, and Contino in Rioja; Virgen del Galir in Valdeorras; Bela in Ribera del Duero; Roger Goulart in Cava, and Bodegas La Val in Rías Baixas.

•Corralejo Tequila, part of the Infinium Spirits portfolio, has struck a multi-year partnership with the United Soccer League, becoming the first Official Tequila Partner of the USL ahead of the 2023 USL Championship and League One seasons. The partnership includes local market activations that will feature experiential initiatives, concessions integrations, on-site presence at the USL Summer Showcase and the USL Championship and League One Finals, and broadcast, digital, and social content throughout the USL Championship and League One regular season and playoffs.
