eRNDC Crosses $1 Billion In Sales Since Launch

Republic National Distributing Co.’s eRNDC e-commerce platform has reached a total of $1 billion in sales since initially rolling out in 2019. That includes $158 million in sales from January through March of this year, or about 16% of the total.

In the first quarter of 2023, eRNDC sold 88,000 products and expanded to California, to reach a current footprint of 18 states and Washington, D.C. It also introduced more advanced in-app features, including seamless reordering and personalized product recommendations, RNDC said, adding that 41% of in-app searches since September have been for specific brands, leading it to increase investment in brand discovery features on the platform. More in-app features and improvements to the e-commerce platform are planned for the balance of this year.—Daniel Marsteller
