•Portland, Oregon-based Widmer Brothers Brewing is bringing back its limited edition Falconer’s India Pale Ale. First launched a year ago under the brewer’s Rotator IPA specialty series, Falconer’s India Pale Ale was created to honor Northwest craft brewer Glen Hay Falconer, who passed away in 2002. The commemorative 7%-abv brew is billed as a moderately bitter IPA, with fruit aromas and “a strong malt backbone.” Available in limited quantities, the second release of Falconer’s India Pale Ale will be offered on draft and in six-packs, 12-packs and 22-ounce bottles at select accounts nationwide, with a suggested retail price of $8.99 a six-pack and $15.99 a 12-pack. Falconer’s is the first ever re-release from Widmer’s Rotator IPA series, which debuted its first offering—X-114 IPA—in 2011.

•Casual dining chain Red Robin has introduced the Samuel Adams Octoberfest Milkshake to its seasonal fall menu. Available through November 11, the alcoholic offering blends soft serve ice cream with Samuel Adams Octoberfest draft, vanilla and caramel. Alongside the Octoberfest milkshake, Red Robin is offering complementary seasonal dishes—including its Warm Pretzel Bites appetizer and the pub-inspired Tavern Burger—as well as the Honey Bourbon Lemonade cocktail, which combines lemonade with Red Stag Honey Tea Bourbon, fresh mint and agave nectar. Red Robin has more than 460 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
