•Madison, Wisconsin-based craft spirits producer Yahara Bay Distillers has unveiled Seraphine Chai Tea Vodka. Rolling out in select markets in November, the artisanal chai tea-flavored offering features artwork by Brazilian artist Jonatas Chimen on its label. Additionally, Yahara Bay has announced plans to commission Chimen’s work for two upcoming product releases—including a red pepper-flavored vodka—in early 2013. Established in 1997, Yahara Bay currently produces around 15 different premium craft spirits, including rums, vodkas, whiskies, gin, liqueurs and an apple brandy.

•Kailua-Kona, Hawaii-based Kona Brewing Co. is bringing its seasonal Pipeline Porter back for its seventh year as part of Kona’s Aloha Series. The brew will be available on shelves and on draft in Hawaii and throughout the mainland U.S. now through December. Pipeline Porter (priced around $8-$9 for a six-pack) is 5.4% abv and brewed with freshly roasted Kona coffee. Kona Brewing Co. has a distribution footprint that reaches 31 states. It’s part of the Craft Brew Alliance (CBA), which was formed in 2008 through a merger of Portland, Oregon’s Widmer Brothers Brewing and Seattle’s Redhook Brewing.

•Michigan’s New Holland Brewing and Artisan Spirits will release two products this fall—Charkoota Rye Smoked Doppelbock Lager and Beer Barrel Bourbon. Charkoota Rye Smoked Doppelbock Lager, which builds on the previous Charkoota Rye by aging it in brandy barrels, is available beginning today in 22-ounce bottles for around $7.99. Beer Barrel Bourbon has been aged in New Holland’s own Dragon’s Milk beer barrels for 90 days. It will be available in nine states beginning October 1 for $29.99 a 750-ml. In other company news, New Holland will expand distribution into Georgia and New York this month. It’s entering New York City this week through a partnership with Union Beer Distributors and Blue Print Spirits. New Holland will also launch its products in Atlanta next week through United Distributors.
