October 22, 2012•MillerCoors’ Blue Moon Brewing Co. has announced a bevy of new offerings, including additions to its Vintage Ale Collection. According to Blue Moon brewmaster Keith Villa, the Vintage Ale Collection will introduce Proximity, a wheat ale made with Sauvignon Blanc grapes, and Impulse, a wheat ale brewed with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The pair will join the collection’s previously released Vintage Blonde Ale, which features Chardonnay grape juice. Additionally, Villa detailed the launch of two upcoming specialty series—The Graffiti Collection and The Expressionist Collection. Packaged in 22-ounce bottles, the Graffiti Collection will initially feature labels such as Tongue Thai-ed Ale, brewed with lemongrass and basil, and the juniper-based Pine in the Neck Double IPA. The Expressionist Collection, meanwhile, will debut with a Belgian Pale Ale and Farmhouse Red Ale, the names of which have yet to be officially announced.
