Whisky Advocate Names American Whiskey Of The Year
January 22, 2013Earlier today, Whisky Advocate named Four Roses 2012 Limited Edition Small Batch as its American Whiskey of the Year. The 55.7%-abv Bourbon retails for $90 a bottle. Yesterday, the magazine revealed Corsair Triple Smoke (40% abv, $45) as its Artisan Whiskey of the Year. The individual winners from the 19th annual installment of the Whisky Advocate Awards are being unveiled one day at a time at WhiskyAdvocateBlog.com, and will also be featured in the magazine’s upcoming Spring edition, due out March 1.
