Wine Counterfeiting Trial Packs Plenty of Punches, No Knockout Blows

Natural resource industry billionaire Bill Koch’s fraud lawsuit against alleged wine counterfeiter Eric Greenberg is currently underway in federal court in Manhattan. After more than two weeks of proceedings, the jurors have heard lengthy testimony about the inner workings of the wine auction world. There have been plenty of ugly revelations. It’s not clear yet, however, which side is being more persuasive. Wine Spectator has a full update here.
