Wirtz Restructures Leadership Team
April 19, 2013Wirtz Beverage has announced a restructuring of its leadership team that will see the creation of four executive vice president roles, all reporting to group president Rocky Wirtz.
Among the executive vice president appointees, Danny Wirtz, formerly senior vice president overseeing innovation, strategic initiatives, human resources and other areas, will be executive vice president with responsibility for finance, IT and talent management. Julian Burzynski, formerly senior vice president of Wirtz Beverage Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota, will become executive vice president, national sales and marketing. Art Wirtz, formerly vice president, operations, Wirtz Beverage Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota, will become executive vice president, supply chain; and Ed Callison, currently executive vice president, business development, will add government affairs to his responsibilities.
The sixth-largest spirits and wine wholesaler in the U.S., Wirtz has projected 2013 revenues of $1.76 billion, according to Impact Newsletter.
