Ste. Michelle Introduces “Anew,” A Riesling

June 4, 2013

Ste. Michelle Wine Estates has added a Washington Riesling brand to its portfolio, Anew. Priced at $11 a 750-ml., Anew Riesling is billed as a light-bodied wine featuring fruit flavors and a touch of sweetness. The 11.5%-abv offering, which is packaged in a slender bottle with a stylized floral label, will be targeted toward female consumers. Ste. Michelle has produced 70,000 cases of Anew’s debut 2012 vintage, and will begin a national rollout for the brand this month. Anew joins a Ste. Michelle Washington portfolio that includes Chateau Ste. Michelle, Columbia Crest and 14 Hands, among others.
