October 17, 2013•Boston Beer’s Alchemy and Science offshoot has begun construction on a new Miami-based brewery. Slated to open in early 2014, Concrete Beach Brewery will be based in the city’s Wynwood Arts District and will initially produce draft beers for local distribution, with bottled offerings set to follow shortly. In addition to a production facility, the brewery will also include a meeting hall for beer sampling and various cultural arts events. Concrete Beach marks the fifth craft beer project for Alchemy and Science, joining the unit’s previous ventures with Angel City Brewery, Coney Island Brewing Co., Traveler Beer Co. and The Just Beer Project.
