November 13, 2013•Athens, Georgia-based Terrapin Beer Co. has released the first entry in its new Reserve Series range, White Chocolate Moo-Hoo. A spinoff of Terrapin’s popular Moo-Hoo Chocolate Milk Stout seasonal, White Chocolate Moo-Hoo layers white chocolate and vanilla flavors over a cocoa base. The 6%-abv, limited edition expression will be available in 22-ounce bottles across Terrapin’s 10-state footprint starting this week. The small-batch Reserve Series is joined by five year-round labels, four seasonals and a variety of specialty and limited edition brews produced by Terrapin, which is minority-owned by MillerCoors.
•San Diego’s Coronado Brewing Co. has entered Oregon for the first time via a new partnership with Oregon City’s General Distributors. Beginning this month, Coronado’s Islander IPA, Idiot IPA, Orange Ave Wit, Mermaids Red, Blue Bridge Coffee Stout and Stupid Stout seasonal will be available at select retail and off-premise outlets in the Oregon markets of Portland, McMinnville, Hillsboro, Salem and Monmouth. The rollout will be supported by a series of kick-off events hosted by Coronado brewer Ryan Brooks. With the addition of Oregon, Coronado’s reach now extends to 14 states.
