Anheuser-Busch says it will invest $10 million in its brewery in Williamsburg, Virginia, to expand brewing and packaging operations. The investment is part of more than $39 million that has gone into the brewery since 2011. In addition to expanded production capabilities—such as a new slim package added to one of the facility’s existing can lines—upgrades will include increased energy and water efficiency at the brewery, which has been open since 1972, and serves the states of Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia and Washington, D.C.
