January 21, 2014•California beer wholesaler Harbor Distributing, part of Reyes Beverage Group, has closed its acquisition of Sylmar, California-based Allied Beverages Inc. The deal expands Harbor’s existing 20-million-case Southern California business with Allied’s 13-million-case operation, which delivers to 4,100 retailers across northwest Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. The merged company’s suppliers include MillerCoors, Crown Imports, Diageo-Guinness and Heineken, as well as an extensive craft list including Dogfish Head, Deschutes, Boston Beer, Anchor Brewing, Ballast Point, Green Flash, Lagunitas, Sierra Nevada and others.
