•Oregon craft brewer Deschutes is set to introduce a new 22-ounce Reserve Series offering, Not the Stoic, later this month. Not the Stoic is a 12%-abv Belgian-style quad ale brewed with Belgian candy sugar, beet and date sugars, and pomegranate molasses and aged in rye whiskey and Pinot Noir barrels. Also this month, Deschutes is returning its Hop in the Dark Black IPA, a 6.5%-abv beer also packaged in 22-ounce barrels. Both Not the Stoic and Hop in the Dark will be available across most of Deschutes’ 25-state footprint.

•Escondido, California-based Stone Brewing Co. has released Stone Saison, a farmhouse-style ale infused with lemon thyme and lavender sourced from Stone’s 19-acre organic farm. The 6%-abv Belgian-style ale will be available during the spring and summer months on draft and in 12-ounce six-packs nationwide. Stone Saison features Perle and Aramis hops and is meant to be consumed within 120 days to maximize freshness and flavor.
