Grey Goose Extends With Melon Flavor
April 16, 2014Bacardi is introducing a new flavor extension for Grey Goose, set to roll out this spring. Grey Goose Le Melon, which will retail at $30 a 750-ml., is made with 100% natural essence from rare Cavaillon melons sourced from Provence. Le Melon joins Cherry Noir, La Poire, L’Orange and Le Citron in the Grey Goose flavor line.
The new flavor launch coincides with the brand’s multi-million dollar “Fly Beyond” ad campaign, which debuted in recent months. The third-largest imported vodka brand in the U.S. market behind Absolut and Svedka, Grey Goose has hovered around the 3.4-million-case mark since 2008, slipping 2% last year to 3.38 million cases, according to Impact Databank.
