Grant Named COO Of Hess Collection

Industry veteran John Grant has been appointed chief operating officer of The Hess Collection. He will oversee sales, marketing and business operations for the Napa-based Hess, working closely with company chairman and CEO Timothy Persson, part of the fifth generation of Hess family leadership of the Hess Group.

Grant was most recently managing director for Treasury Wine Estates’ Beringer portfolio, after serving in senior global marketing and sales roles at TWE. A native Australian, Grant was also previously a top executive with Constellation Wines Australia and Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates.
